Joan Rouzaud, violon de l'orchestre   

Joan Rouzaud / violin

Born in 1974. Studied at the CNR (Conservatoire National Régional)
in Toulouse then at the CNSM (Conservatoire National Supérieur de
Musique) in Paris in the class of violin of Olivier Charlier where he
received a degree in superior education in music in 1997. The same
year he joined the Orchestre Français des Jeunes (French orchestra
of young musicians) under the direction of Marek Janovski. In 1998,
he participates in the performance of Gruppen by Stockhausen under
the direction of Messrs Boulez and Robertson. He regularly plays with
the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France (philarmonic orchestra
of French state-owned radio), the Orchestre National de France and
in the Orchestre Poitou-Charentes (regional orchestra).
A versatile musician, he has played with Latin music bands such as
Sergent Garcia or Charanga Keto or with the jazzmen Thomas de
Pourquery and Daniel Zimmermann. He has taken part in numerous
recordings of albums or film sound tracks (Sergent Garcia, Angélique
Kidjo, Henri Salvador, Kissogram, Jérémy Chatelain, Sofia Essaïdi...)
