Rémi Sciuto / flutes, alto saxophone and clarinet

Born in Paris in 1976. Studied in the jazz section of the ENM (National
school of music) in Noisiel-Val-Maubuée (near Paris) under the
supervision of Bertrand Auger. After three years there, he entered
the CNSM (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique) in Paris in the
jazz class from which he graduated four years later a first prizewinner.
In 2000, playing as a soloist in a competition, Concours National de jazz
de la Défense, he was again first prizewinner. A member of the Jazz
Ensemble of Patrice Caratini, the Sacre du Tympan of Fred Pallem and
the Orchestre de la Boule Noire. He has participated in many recordings
(La Compagnie des musiques à ouïr, Jane Birkin, Oxmo Puccino, film
sound tracks...) His first album as leader was released in 2006 with
Label Bleu (Wildmimi Antigroove Syndicate).
